CJLS hosted the annual lecture series, Law, Sexuality and Society - Lecture and Conversation Series in April, titled "Power and Resistance: Reimagining Gender, Justice & the Law" in April 2022. Through this series, CJLS attempted to interrogate the role of the law as a tool of dominance in the hands of those exercising socio-political power to further entrench cis-heteropatriarchal norms as well as the emerging resistance to such classifications and categorisations of bodies and persons. CJLS hosted Aroh Akunth, Sintu Bagui, Nitai Giri, Dr. Soma Roy, and Jaya Sharma for this series.
