Harikartik Ramesh is a Research Associate at CJLS and an Assistant Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School. They completed their undergraduate law degree from NLU Delhi in 2022, following which they completed their Master of Laws at the University of Cambridge in 2023, including a thesis on the subject of public law entitled 'Impact of the Right to Autonomy on Indian Family Law'. Their research interests fall within Family Law and Constitutional Law, with special reference to queer rights, gender justice, free speech, and issues regarding the right to privacy.

Their hobbies include quizzing, playing obscure board games, listening to Irish music and reading about political history.

CJLS is doing work at the grassroot level for various movements in the field of gender-justice whether it be in abortion or transgender rights. I feel excited to be able to watch the methodology of on-ground campaigns, where the rights-holders are central to the entire process and dictate the objectives, methods and techniques used, which is an incredible learning experience for the future.
