Anmol graduated from the University Of Southern California- Gould School Of Law’s LL.M. program in 2018 with a special focus on human rights, global health and civil rights and was awarded for receiving high honours in academics. He completed his undergraduate degree from Amity Law School, Delhi (IP University) in 2016 with a focus on Constitutional law, human rights and women & law. After joining CJLS in January 2020, he has worked on many projects in the areas of public health, sexual and reproductive health & rights (SRHR), transgender rights, anti-carceration, law & technology, among others. He consistently contributes to the Centre through research, writing, policy review & analysis and grant writing. Currently, he also manages the reading groups, Life After Law School Graduation sessions and Scholar Talks for the Centre.     

From May 2018 to July 2019 he gained invaluable practical experience when he was offered the prestigious legal fellowship at University of Southern California’s Institute on Inequalities in Global Health, Program on Global Health and Human Rights where he worked on projects with international organizations such as the Global Fund for HIV, TB and Malaria, the United National Development Program (UNDP) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Here he got the opportunity to work with leading experts such as Professor Sofia Gruskin and Professor Laura Ferguson. Recognizing the impact of his work he was invited to speak at the Los Angeles Global Health Conference at University of California, Los Angeles in January 2019 as a breakthrough speaker. Prior to joining Jindal Global Law School and CJLS he has also worked as a litigation associate with Panicker & Panicker LLP, New Delhi.

He has published on various themes including public health, SRHR, Constitutional law, migration and reservation in educational institutions. His upcoming publication is in Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters (SRHM) on abortion through telemedicine in India. His research and interest areas include- human rights, global health including mental health, gender & sexuality, SRHR, intersections of law, health & technology, Constitutional law and education. In his free time, he likes to read and write poetry and is working on publishing a book on Hindi & Urdu poetry. He also loves to play the guitar and the keyboard and tries to take up every opportunity to travel.
