Radhika completed a B.A.(Hon.) degree in Mass Media and Mass Communication from Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University after which she obtained an M.A. in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics. She then went on to complete an LLB from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University and an Advanced LLM in European and International Human Rights Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
Before joining CJLS, she was an Academic Fellow at the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, where she was a Teaching Assistant on core courses such as Civil Procedure Code, Jurisprudence II and Interpretation and elective courses to both law and Masters in Public Policy (MPP) students. She also worked as a Policy Researcher with Professor Babu Mathew at the Centre for Labour Studies (CLS) where she proposed a comprehensive draft legislation on agriculture sector workers providing for their welfare and regulating the conditions of their work.
She has worked in research and advocacy roles in the field of access to justice and legal reform- independently at grassroots level as well as in academic or institutional settings. Prior to pursuing a career in academia, she was a lawyer working on civil, criminal and family matters in the High Court of Delhi.
